Courtney Nugent

          Courtney is in her 13th year as an English teacher at Oxford High School, where she teaches English courses in grades 8-12, including Advanced Placement Literature and Composition. Courtney holds a master’s degree in education administration from American International College and a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from Roger Williams University, where she also studied abroad in Galway, Ireland.  Aside from her teaching duties, Courtney also serves as a Keys to Literacy coach, English department head, and cultural enrichment advisor, and she holds a professional teaching license in English, grades 8-12. In her free time, Courtney loves to read, travel, volunteer, and cuddle her two dogs, Bee and Hilda.
