Tricia Bowen 

​

          Tricia Bowen joins the IES tutoring team with more than 21 years experience teaching 3rd and 4th grade. Tricia has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in elementary education and a Master's of Science degree in special education of students with moderate disabilities, both from Fitchburg State University, as well as an additional 34 credit hours towards her next degree. Tricia is certified in Elementary Education K-6. Tricia’s second undergraduate major is in Professional Writing. 

          Tricia has found great pleasure in working with struggling students. Her approach shows the student that she truly cares about them as an individual as well as supporting them in becoming an active member of our society in their own unique way. When not working to further her knowledge and skills in teaching others, you can find Tricia spending time with her two daughters, camping, reading and oftentimes working on written documents with and for others.
