WHAT MAKES INNOVATIVE EDUCATION SOLUTIONS “INNOVATIVE?”

Innovative Education Solutions services both teachers and students by providing budget-friendly and tailored professional development and supplemental education services such as private tutoring and test preparation.  The goal is to bring high quality services to as many students and teachers as possible, leveling the playing field to ensure that all students and teachers from all schools and communities have access to these services. There is no other single firm that operates using this model.

DOES IES WORK WITH SPECIAL EDUCATION AND ELL STUDENTS?

Innovative Education Solutions employs licensed special education and ELL teachers to work effectively with your child, regardless of your child's needs.  All IES tutors and instructional staff use inclusive instructional practices to help all students with diverse learning needs and ability levels. If, during the initial consultation, it is deemed that IES will not be able to service your child’s needs effectively, IES is prepared to provide you with referrals to specialists who may be of more assistance.

DOES IES SEEK TO DEVELOP COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS ASIDE FROM WORKING WITH SCHOOLS?

IES seeks to develop partnerships with public and private schools, as well as nonprofit organizations, with the goal of forging a program that serves the needs of their local stakeholders.  To learn more or to schedule a meeting, please complete an inquiry form through the website.  We are more than happy to discuss your organization’s specific needs and how we might help.

DOES IES PROVIDE TUTORING IN ALL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS?

IES provides tutoring in most K-12 academic subjects.  IES also provides tutoring to undergraduate and some graduate students. For academic subjects for which IES currently does not provide tutoring, IES is ready to provide referrals to other organizations that will meet your child’s needs.

HOW DO I BOOK MY CHILD FOR ACADEMIC TUTORING OR TEST PREPARATION?

To book tutoring or test preparation for your child, please complete an inquiry form or use the “Book Online” function on the website.  An IES staff member will contact you to confirm and complete the booking and enrollment process for your child.

HOW DOES IES PARTNER DIRECTLY WITH SCHOOLS?

IES will work to form strong relationships with public and private schools and spend the time working with all stakeholders to develop solutions that meet the unique needs of your school’s students and teachers. This includes working collaboratively to use grant funds to provide services to students free of charge. 

WHAT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DOES IES OFFER TO TEACHERS?

IES is equipped to offer professional development and training in areas such as classroom management, curriculum and instructional design, differentiated instruction, literacy instruction in the content areas, and assessment.

HOW DO I PAY FOR TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION FOR MY CHILD?

Families can pay for private tutoring and test preparation by check or with a major credit card.  All invoices are generated from Square, a third party billing company.  IES will never have access to anyone's credit card information. 

HOW DO SCHOOL DISTRICTS PAY FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OR ON-SITE TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION?

Once IES has worked with the school district to develop a budget-friendly and tailored solution, IES will provide an invoice. Authorized representatives can either pay by check, or they can pay by credit or debit card directly on the website.  Checks should be made payable to Innovative Education Solutions.

HOW WILL IES ENSURE THAT A QUALIFIED INSTRUCTOR WORKS WITH MY CHILD?

All instructional staff are interviewed, vetted, hired, onboarded, trained, and developed by the founder of IES, a master teacher and instructional leader with over 15 years of experience.  As part of the onboarding and hiring process, all IES staff members complete a CORI check as well.  Once they are hired, IES instructional staff participate in ongoing professional development and training.  IES operates on small profit margins and compensates instructional staff competitively to retain a highly qualified and competent team. 

HOW MUCH DO IES SERVICES COST?

Our K-12 academic private tutoring rate is $100.00 per hour.  K-12 semi-private academic tutoring costs $45.00 per student, with a minimum of three (3) students needed to structure semi-private tutoring.  

Our college private tutoring rate is $150.00 per hour. 

Our rate for test prep private tutoring is $150.00 per hour. Test prep semi-private tutoring costs $65.00 per student, with a minimum of three (3) students needed to structure semi-private tutoring. 

Our college counseling and essay writing rate is $150.00 per hour.  

Unlike most tutoring or consulting companies, IES will not collect a large retainer up front.  Only the first session’s fee is due up front.   For more information, please complete an inquiry form through the website, and an IES staff member will contact you with further assistance.

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE?

Each new student receives a 15% new student discount for the first four sessions.  We also apply a 10% prepay discount for families that wish to purchase multiple tutoring sessions (4 or more) up front.  Lastly, we apply a 10% family discount if there are multiple siblings enrolled in tutoring. DOES IES PROVIDE PRIVATE TUTORING FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AS WELL?

IES provides tutoring in undergraduate and some graduate courses, depending on the qualifications, training, and expertise of our staff.  For academic subjects for which IES cannot provide tutoring, IES is ready to provide you with referrals to reputable organizations that can provide you with the tutoring you need. WILL IES PROVIDE ONLINE TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION EVEN AFTER THE COVID CRISIS HAS ENDED?

When the COVID crisis has ended, IES will continue to provide services both face-to-face and online.  When it is not physically possible to provide in-person services, IES will continue to facilitate online programs. 

DOES IES WORK WITH PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES THAT HOME SCHOOL THEIR CHILDREN?

IES provides tutoring to students who attend private schools, as well as families that home school their children.  For additional information, please complete an inquiry form through the website.  An IES staff member will contact you with further assistance.
