WHAT MAKES INNOVATIVE EDUCATION SOLUTIONS “INNOVATIVE?”

Innovative Education Solutions services both teachers and students by providing budget-friendly and tailored professional development and supplemental education services such as private tutoring and test preparation.  The goal is to bring high quality services to as many students and teachers as possible, leveling the playing field to ensure that all students and teachers from all schools and communities have access to these services. There is no other single firm that operates using this model.

DOES IES WORK WITH SPECIAL EDUCATION AND ELL STUDENTS?

IES staff are trained to use inclusive instructional practices to help all students to access curriculum.  If, during the initial consultation, it is deemed that IES will not be able to service your child’s needs effectively, IES is prepared to provide you with referrals to specialists who may be of more assistance.

DOES IES SEEK TO DEVELOP COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS ASIDE FROM WORKING WITH SCHOOLS?

IES seeks to develop partnerships with public and private schools, as well as nonprofit organizations, with the goal of forging a program that serves the needs of their local stakeholders.  To learn more or to schedule a meeting, please complete an inquiry form through the website.  We are more than happy to discuss your organization’s specific needs and how we might help.

DOES IES PROVIDE TUTORING IN ALL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS?

IES will provide tutoring in all academic subjects, depending on staffing.  If there is an academic subject that IES is not ready to provide tutoring in, IES is ready to provide referrals to other organizations that will meet your child’s needs.

HOW DO I BOOK MY CHILD FOR PRIVATE TUTORING OR A TEST PREPARATION CLASS?

To book tutoring or test preparation for your child, please complete an inquiry form or use the “Book Online” function on the website.  An IES staff member will contact you to confirm and complete the booking and enrollment process for your child.

HOW DOES IES PARTNER DIRECTLY WITH SCHOOLS?

IES will work to form strong relationships with public and private schools and spend the time working with all stakeholders to develop solutions that meet the unique needs of your school’s students and teachers.

WHAT KIND OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DOES IES OFFER TO TEACHERS?

IES is equipped to offer professional development and training in areas such as classroom management, curriculum and instructional design, differentiated instruction, literacy instruction in the content areas, and assessment.

HOW DO I PAY FOR PRIVATE TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION FOR MY CHILD?

Families can pay for private tutoring and test preparations directly on the website by using a credit or debit card.

HOW DO SCHOOL DISTRICTS PAY FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OR ON-SITE TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION?

Once IES has worked with the school district to develop a budget-friendly and tailored solution, IES will provide an invoice.  Authorized representatives can either pay by check, or they can pay by credit or debit card directly on the website.  Checks should be made payable to Innovative Education Solutions.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO SIGN MY CHILD UP FOR A TEST PREPARATION CLASS, BUT THE CLASS IS FULL?

To provide as much individualized attention in a classroom as possible, test preparation classes are capped at 8.  If there are more students who wish to enroll, IES will simply create another class section, so that your child may participate in a class that s/he wishes to enroll in.

HOW WILL IES ENSURE THAT A QUALIFIED INSTRUCTOR IS WORKING WITH MY CHILD?

All instructional staff are interviewed, vetted, hired, onboarded, trained, and developed by the founder of IES, a master teacher and instructional leader with over 15 years of experience.  All instructional staff are also required to participate in ongoing professional development and training.

HOW MUCH DO PRIVATE TUTORING AND SEMI-PRIVATE TUTORING COST?

The private tutoring rate is $90.00 per hour.  Semi-private tutoring costs $30.00 per hour.  Unlike most tutoring companies, IES will not collect a large retainer up front.  Only the first session’s fee is due up front.   For more information, please complete an inquiry form through the website, and an IES staff member will contact you with further assistance.

HOW MUCH DOES IN-HOME REMOTE LEARNING SUPPORT COST? 

In-home remote learning support costs $40.00 per hour.   We will work with families to develop individualized solutions to help their children with remote or hybrid learning, including providing flexible payment options.  For more information, please complete an inquiry form through the website, and an IES staff member will contact you with further assistance.

DOES IES PROVIDE PRIVATE TUTORING FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AS WELL?

IES provides tutoring for college students depending on the student’s needs and staffing.  For academic subjects that IES cannot provide tutoring in, IES is ready to provide you with referrals to reputable organizations that can provide you with the tutoring you need.

WILL IES PROVIDE ONLINE TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION EVEN AFTER THE COVID CRISIS HAS ENDED?

When the COVID crisis has ended, IES will continue to provide private tutoring both face-to-face and online.  If the demand for test preparation classes outside of central Massachusetts is high enough, IES will create virtual test preparation classes as well.

DOES IES WORK WITH PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES THAT HOME SCHOOL THEIR CHILDREN?

DOES IES OFFER FREE CONSULTATIONS AND FREE SAT AND ACT BASELINE TESTS?
